New Delhi office, in its Tax and Business Advisory division where he worked upto 1991. He has significant experience in taxation and financial services sector. Determining the optimal route for investment into or outside India through efficient tax jurisdictions is his forte. Handles complex expatriate tax and transfer pricing issues. Additionally, has wide knowledge in carrying out due diligence, business valuations and financial modeling.

Parveen Kumar

Qualified as a chartered accountant in 1989 and set-up an independent accounting practice in New Delhi. Parveen had been associated with the firm in assisting on specific client assignments. In 2002 his practice merged with our firm and he joins as a partner in the growing assurance and compliance work. Has significant experience in conducting audits of banks, private and public sector companies and other organisations. Brings with him experience of handling project feasibility studies, sales tax and company law matters.

PR Jayakumar

Qualified as a chartered accountant in 1981 and joined a renowned accounting practice of South India. Later became the partner heading South India operations of a leading national practice before venturing out independently. He joined the firm as partner responsible for the Bangalore office. Brings with him audit and accounting expertise across diversified industries viz. hotel and tourism, software development, pharmaceuticals and bulk drugs, consumer goods. Has also gained significant experience in taxation, due-diligence studies, handling company law matters and structuring investments into India.

Rajiv Arya

Qualified as a chartered accountant in 1992 and immediately joined the firm. Heads the team carrying out different kinds of assurance and compliance functions for clients. Besides audit and accounts, carries wide experience in reviewing and analysing existing systems and procedures and setting up appropriate internal control procedures for manufacturing, trading and service companies. Carries wide experience in understanding and preparing financial statements using US and Japanese GAAP.

Utpal Desai

Qualified as a chartered accountant in 1992 and set-up an independent accounting practice at Mumbai. He joined the firm in 1997 as a manager and was responsible for setting-up and managing the firm's Mumbai practice. Later he took over independent responsibility for the Mumbai office as a partner. Has significant experience in conducting various audits in insurance, banking, private and public sector organisation. Has also gained significant experience in carrying out assignments related to expatriate taxation and due diligence studies as well as in representing matters at the Reserve Bank of India and the tax office.

Sunil Arora

Qualified as a chartered accountant in 2001 after completing his articles from the firm. Was initially responsible for assurance and compliance matters, though for major part was involved in firm's tax practice. Has significant experience in handling international tax issues viz expatriate taxation and transfer pricing matters. Has been a speaker at various tax forums and is well versed in representing and handling client matters before the Indian tax authorities.
